Our Patient Advisory Board
“The patient in focus” – we take this claim seriously and live it. This is precisely why we at GHD GesundHeits GmbH Deutschland established a Patient Advisory Board in 2021.
It is important for us to get to know the wishes and needs of our customers even better, because together we can further improve the care and quality of life of our patients!
With this initiative, we are doing pioneering work, as we are the first German homecare company with a patient advisory board.
Our company history
Where we come from
We have been providing patients with homecare, parenteral nutrition and pharmaceutical therapies as well as rehabilitation and orthopaedic technology for many years. We started out as pioneers in 1992: with the homecare concept, we established a completely new range of services on the German health care market. Today, we offer a holistic care concept with complete care throughout Germany.
Establishment of the provision of medical aids in the patients’ home environment
Expansion of pharmaceutical therapies in the following years
Expansion of the portfolio to include medicines through cooperation with HAD Apotheke Deutschland
Establishment as a manufacturer and logistics service provider through the acquisition of the companies FORLIFE, Profusio (now GHD Compounding), sangro and DVG
Expansion of the portfolio through the acquisition of the companies OTB and Rehability to include aids in the areas of rehab, active rehab, orthopaedic technology and orthopaedic shoe technology
Transition from an owner-managed company to management by a management board
